GERIATRIC PRODIGY

Passion is the formalin that runs through my hardening veins.

Soon after art school, I left Italy to follow my dream of becoming a director.  Glamour and beauty chaotically filled my life for the following 30 years. 

Then, a few years ago, I started painting, it felt like an urge.  I needed to speak more than paint, therefore I started to build my work around words, which I could later disguise with colorful designs. I look for simple phrases or puns that can pierce the shields of  the unaware witness. Confusion, ego, social issues  and impermanence are my inspirations.

I'm fascinated by all media and materials, old classic processes and new technologies . 

I see life as a performance where the magician tries to manipulate himself and his audience out of the illusion of self-induced comfort.
